Mondo Description The presence of pus in the fallopian tube. It is usually caused by acute salpingitis. The fallopian tube is distended and filled with pus. Histologic examination reveals edema and acute and chronic inflammation. Symptoms include fever, vaginal discharge, and pelvic pain.
