Protein Summary
Carboxypeptidase which preferentially cleaves C-terminal acidic residues from peptides and proteins. Can also cleave C-terminal hydrophobic amino acids, with a preference for small residues over large residues. This gene is a member of the metallocarboxypeptidase gene family.
