Uniprot Description Recurrent myoglobinuria is characterized by recurrent attacks of rhabdomyolysis (necrosis or disintegration of skeletal muscle) associated with muscle pain and weakness and followed by excretion of myoglobin in the urine. Renal failure may occasionally occur.
