Uniprot Description A form of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a group of connective tissue disorders characterized by skin hyperextensibility, articular hypermobility, and tissue fragility. EDSCV is an autosomal recessive disease characterized by mitral valve prolapse and insufficiency, mitral regurgitation, and aortic insufficiency, in addition to joint laxity, skin hyperextensibility and friability, and abnormal scar formation.
