Mondo Description Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) is the most frequent form of posterior corneal dystrophy and is characterized by excrescences on a thickened Descemet membrane (corneal guttae), generalized corneal edema, with gradually decreased visual acuity.
